Building Innovation Ecosystems in Africa; the need for structure.
There is no doubt that there are a number of innovation products/solutions that are coming through the different avenues on our continent. We see a number of them highlighted or showcased at different fora however majority struggle through and many just disappear. One clear challenge is that we hardly have innovation ecosystems that are deliberately established to support the innovators. Most the interventions are one-off. The question we should all desire to answer is how do build innovation ecosystems that respond to the challenges of our time.
